Amara Raja won excellence awards at the National Convention of Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) held at Chennai from 18th to 20th Dec’15. Mr. Jagan Mohan G, Head of Operations, Amara Raja Batteries Ltd, received QCFI—Quality Leadership Award(Private sector) 2015 for his outstanding contributions in building Quality culture in Amara Raja.


Jagan Mohan G has been instrumental in building Quality culture in Amara Raja and in surrounding industries and received the Leadership Award from the hands of Dr.Ravichandran N, Executive Director Lucas TVS, Prof. AK Mittal, QCFI President and DK SrivastavaExecutive director.

 

Quality circle forum of India is recognized as the institution representing the Quality Circle Movement in India and has represented the country in several international forums. This recognition speaks volumes about Amara Raja’s commitment towards creating an efficient and effective workforce that delivers in all fronts with the highest quality levels.

 

Amara Raja Group also won the highest no. of Awards


At the National Convention, the highest no. of circles participated was from Amara Raja Group which also won the highest no. of Awards which includes 29 Par Excellence (top order),  33Excellence and 1 distinguish (lowest order) out of 63 teams participated.

 

Speaking at the occasion, Jagan Mohan G, Head of Operations, ARBL said, “We at Amara Raja are very passionate about building the quality culture at the grass root level to build a sustainable model of quality and excellence of delivery. The operators actively promote the Quality Circles concept in their manufacturing plants under the able guidance of Dr Ramachandra N Galla, Founder and Chairman, Amara Raja Group and other senior colleagues making Quality a way of Life at Amara Raja.”
