Royal Enfield flaunted two factory-built custom motorcycles, Mo’ Powa’ and the Dirty Duck, based on the Classic 500 and Continental GT respectively, in Europe, at the 4th Wheels and Waves Festival, in Biarritz, France, which began on June 8 and went on till June 12. The Royal Enfield showcased its whole line-up along with these two custom motorcycles built in the UK.

The Low-Riding Dragster Mo’ Powa’

Mo’ Powa’ is the low-riding, Dragster-meets-Mad Max inspired custom motorcycle, with a turbocharger mounted on the engine, along with a custom-built exhaust by Harris Performance. Mo’ Powa’ uses the Classic 500 engine. It also gets the swingarm from the Continental GT for increased wheelbase, while the turbocharger churns out more power, where the name Mo’ Powa’ actually comes from.

With a bare-minimum skeletal look, the Dragster inspired Mo’ Powa’ has lowered front forks with stiffer springs, which renders it its lowered-stance. The Dragster look gets even more complete with the K-tech twin rear shocks and the flattened handlebars. Instead of the fuel injection, it sports the carburetor fuel system.

The Snorkeling Water-Wading “Dirty Duck”

The Dirty Duck, on the other hand, is a snorkeling off-roader with off-road tires, based on the Continental GT. The deep-water-wading snorkel is the highlight of the Dirty Duck, says the Royal Enfield. The engine won’t struggle for breath, as it snorkels in deep water, across even rivers and large water bodies. Built raw, tough and skeletal as an off-roader, the utilitarian built is further aided by the Continental GT engine, design and the Continental TKC80 tyres.

The motorcycle also sports an aluminium sump-guard on the base to protect the engines and the transmission from damage, from underneath. The hand-crafted water wading snorkel by Harris Performance is the highlight of the vehicle, along with the modified airbox for the straight-through exhaust, says Royal Enfield.

Royal Enfield hasn’t made mention of any official launch or production of the Mo’ Powa’ and the “Dirty Duck”, as they are probably meant to remain custom add-ons to make for customized motorcycles on-demand. The Royal Enfield is known in India as the most popular custom two-wheeler manufacturers, which it’s probably trying to replicate in the European market.
