Hyundai is in a plan to launch the first anniversary edition of its successful compact SUV, Creta by next month. To be based on the SX trim of the model, the upcoming special edition of Creta is likely to come with many additional features along with certain minor changes on its exterior.
The engine option of this special edition will be the same 1.6-litre diesel engine which powers the Creta. It gets mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox churning out 126bhp and 265Nm of power and torque output. Creta’s 1.6-litre diesel engine delivers an ARAI mileage of 19.67kmpl.
Additional new features of the Creta’s anniversary edition will include a dual-tone colour shade in red and black similar to Maruti’s Vitara Brezza, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, exclusive dual-tone seat covers and floor carpets inside the cabin, illuminated door sills, aluminum pedals, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and chrome door handles.
Hyundai has offered the special edition with the '1 Anniversary Edition' badge along with some grey and red vinyl stripes on the sides and the C-pillars. The anniversary edition of Hyundai Creta will be sold in Polar White, Silky Silver and Passion Red colour options. Pricing will be slightly higher than the SX trim of Creta.
