UTI Opportunities Fund declares tax-free dividend of 13% (Re.1.30 per unit on face value of Rs.10) under dividend option-existing plan and dividend option – direct plan. Pursuant to the payment of dividend, the NAV of the dividend option-existing plan and dividend option-direct plan of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout.

 

The record date for the dividend is May 15, 2017. 

 

All unit holders registered under the dividend option-existing plan and dividend option- direct plan of UTI Opportunities Fund as on the record date will be eligible for this dividend. Also investors who join the dividend option - existing plan and dividend option-direct plan of the scheme on or before the cut off time of the record date will be eligible for the dividend.

 

The NAV of UTI Opportunities Fund on May 9, 2017 under dividend option-existing plan was Rs. 18.7152 and under dividend option-direct plan was Rs. 21.0879.   

 

UTI - Opportunities Fund is an open-ended equity oriented scheme. The scheme seeks to generate capital appreciation and/or income distribution by investing the funds of the scheme in equity shares and equity-related instruments. The main focus of this scheme is to capitalize on opportunities arising in the market by responding to the dynamically changing Indian economy by moving its investments amongst different sectors as prevailing trends change.

 

Mr. Vetri Subramaniam is the fund manager of the scheme.
