Syndicate bank successfully conducted online examination for the recruitment of 600 Probationary Officers (PO) on 7th February 2016 across various examination centers. A large number of candidates applied and appeared for the examination across various examination. All the candidates who had written the exam can check the review and analysis of the PO online examination section wise i.e; for reasoning, Aptitude, General Awareness, English. Aspirants can also check the expected and previous year cutoff marks from the article. Candidates who will qualify in the examination are eligible to for the 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course program so that after the completion of course, the candidate will appoint as PO.

Syndicate Bank PO Review & Analysis 2016 With Expected Cut Off Marks

The examination is has four sections i.e; Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English and General awareness. A total of 200 questions were asked in the examination. Each section consists of 50 questions and there is a negative marking for each wrong answer. The overall exam was moderate to difficult. Out of all the sections, Reasoning and English sections were moderate and scoring, while Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness was moderate to difficult.

  • SC: 150
  • ST: 139

The cutoff marks for this year will depend on the difficulty of the paper and number of candidates appeared for the exam. We will update the cutoff marks here.


Syndicate Bank PO Overall Analysis:

The overall analysis is moderate. Aspirants can attempt 150-165 questions. As the reasoning and English language sections were easy, aspirants can score maximum marks here.


Sectional Wise Review & Analysis:

Quantitative Aptitude:

The quantitative aptitude section was moderate. Aspirants who are very good at maths can attempt maximum questions. Aspirants can get 30-35 marks in this section.


English Language:

This section is little bit easy. Aspirants can attempt 35-40 questions. This is the scoring section.


Reasoning:

The reasoning section is easy but are too lengthy and the aspirants can attempt the maximum questions in this section and it is also a scoring part in the examination.


General Awareness:

General Awareness section is moderate to difficult.Aspirants can get about 30-33 marks in this section.
