Oxford University is now the World's best University and it has brought down California University of Technology to second place. This is the first time an institution from UK has taken the accolade. The Top rankings was done by Time Higher Education World University Rankings.
For past 5 years, Caltech was named as the World's best. Since the inception of the Brexit, the UK has been putting efforts to ensure very little damage is done to the academics, students, universities and to international students.
Other institutions from the UK such as the Cambridge University and the Imperial College London also have joined Oxford in the top 10 for the 2016-17 rankings. It should be noted that, as for International students, USA ranks first and UK is World's second most popular destination.
