iCare, a leading organization working in the area of new-age child health care announces ‘Green Pentagon Award’ for schools delivering the best healthcare facilities with environment friendly campuses. There would be a total of 15 awards per year given to different schools at different occasions around the world which fulfill criterion announced by iCare.

Through ‘Green Pentagon Award’, iCare wants to honor, support, and recognize the outstanding work of those schools which are making efforts to promote environmental sustainability; to create healthy and vibrant learning communities that enhance academic performance. This would foster intellectual growth, creativity, and innovation among school students.

According to the World Health Organization, more than 88 percent of the existing burden of disease attributable to climate change occurs in children younger than 5 years old. In 2030, climate change is projected to cause an additional 48,000 deaths attributable to diarrheal disease in children younger than 15 years old, primarily in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.

Icare will recognize these schools after a through dedicated research which will be conducted by its numerous surveys and R&D department work.

Schools which think they deserve this award can also register themselves at www.icare.us.com/greenpentagonaward to undergo the analysis and recommendations.

“We are delighted to announce ‘Green Pentagon Award’ as every child needs a safe and healthy environment. Schools can play very important role to defeat global warming by providing best healthcare facilities with environment friendly campuses. This effort is appreciated by different personalities in different spheres but most importantly by the doctors themselves.
