For the first time in Telugu film history, Ram Gopal Varma is going to auction his upcoming film starring Manchu Vishnu to theater owners. The trailer of the movie will be released on Wednesday evening and those who are impressed with it can log on to the specially readied site 'Filmauction.in'. The website will go live on 1st august at 9 am.
The website will give all the commercial details with regard to the pricing of each centre in the state basing upon the making cost of the film, its prints and publicity. It will act as the mode of communication between the prospective buyer and the production house. The producer will decide a base price for each center and will invite bids from buyers.
The online counter will open on august 1st at 9 AM and will be available for auction for 7 days and end on 7th August at 6 Pm. And once the highest bidder honors the payment his name will be announced as the awardee for that centre. More details about this bid will be available on the website. The producers will take the responsibility of booking the theaters, arranging the digital prints and organizing the publicity. The money collected from the theatrical release will be deposited in the buyer's bank accounts.
