Young Tiger NTR's Rabhasa had to battle several odds at the box office on its release day. Firstly the movie was set with a one film old director and there are several rumours during the movie shoot like Santosh Srinivas' ill health etc. All these facts cast a gloom over the project and naturally there is no hype at all except for the excitement of fans.
As the release drew closer, Producer Bellamkonda Suresh totally turned rigid with out doing any promotion. The movie did not get a huge release as already decent number of theaters are occupied by other hit movies like Geethanjali, Run Raja Run, Lovers etc. Hours before the movie release, financiers tried to stop the movies and as a result, premiere in Overseas were cancelled and benefit shows were delayed.
Once the movie managed to release, the Vinayaka Chaviti celebrations dented collections for the morning shows and revenues in many centers through out the day are affected due to heavy rains. Amid all these problems, here is the breakup of Rabhasa First day collections.
