Senior Distributor NV Prasad had bagged the Telugu rights of Shankar's 'I' for a whopping 34 Crore couple of months back. When the news erupted every one looked up on him as a fool for investing such a huge sum. It is understandable that investing such an amount on a dubbing film is often risky. But NV Prasad has created a sensation in trade by earning a table profit with 'I'.
It is said that he sold all the territory rights of the film for a whopping 43 Crore. Which means he earned out right 9 Crore profit which may be impossible even if you produce a star film these days.
