Yamaho Yama Review : Story
Balu [Sai Ram Shankar] is devotee of Lord Yama Dharma Raja[Sri Hari] from his childhood. He is happy go lucky guy without any job, his grandmother [Rama Prabha] forces him to go to USA. There he falls in love with Swapna [Parvati Melton], but suddenly she leaves to India. Meanwhile Yama comes to USA in order to make his devotee become successful in life. Why Balu turns as Yama's devotee from his childhood, why did Balu grandmother forces him to go to USA, did he win his lady love heart , does Yama finish the task why he came to USA, have to be seen on the silver screen.
Yamaho Yama Review : Star Performances
Sri Hari as Yama Dharma Raja has done a decent job. He has done justice to the role with couple of lengthy dialogues, Yama’s getup also matched to maximum level to him. Srihari’s getups as Batman, Bumblebee are terrible on screen.
Sai Ram Shankar has tried very hard to imitate hero Ravi Teja in most of his scenes, which did not workout. He managed to do couple of different dances move but with horrible song those also got fade out. Thagubothu Ramesh and M.S.Narayana comedy scenes are good. Sanjana has sizzled the screen with one spicy song, Parvati Melton looks like patient who is ready to die next minute and her expressions OMG unbearable.
Yamaho Yama Review : Direction, Music & Technical Aspects
Direction by Y. Jitender is terrible, he couldn’t make use of a fresh point of someone being devotee of Lord Yama Dharma Raja , even though he has inked story. He managed to create little comedy and seriousness at last 15 minutes of this movie. Music by Mahathi is worst, every song in this movie is like its been copied from some other folk or Indian films, even his background score is unbearable to hear. Cinematography by Bharani K Dharan is visually very poor, he couldn’t even show places like Hollywood, Universal Studio of USA properly. Senior editor Marthand K. Venkatesh also did not use his experiences to save this film.
Yamaho Yama Review : Analysis
Film starts with Yama Dharma Raja[Sri Hari] comes to earth on animated bull, which continues with him turning into a tree for no particular reason other than because he can, will blow your mind off. Hero Sai Ram Shankar entry , as he tries to distract a tiger with a song Nuvve Superstar will make you feel why you have taken ticket for this movie. There are uncountable scenes of this kind which never stop testing your patience’s until you reach last 15 minutes of this movie.Entire technical team is big minus points to this flick.
