We all would be more familiar with the story as this is one of our Childhood classic. An orphan boy is raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear, and a black panther. Young chap Mowgli grow up in animal Kingdom and that animal Kingdom first nurtures him and later threatens him with respect to survival. Mowgli was found as a baby by Panther Bagheera and he is raised by wolves. And Mowgli is asked to leave the pack and the journey across the terrain with Python Kaa and Bear Baloo forms the rest of the story. Shere Khan crosses his path once again. What happens later on forms a gripping tale of emotions

Even though this is a 'Live Animation', the solid voice casting has elevated the movie to a new level. Debutante Neel Sethi has been so instrumental as Mowgli. He just brought the character into life with his voice. Bill Murray as Baloo is everyone's favourite. If you have watched the toon, you would know how good the character would be. Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Idris Elba as Shere Khan, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa were just perfect. Their voice tones itself elevate the movie to next scale. And the credits must be also given to those dubbing artists in other regional languages.

J.D.Schwalm who is the Special Effects Supervisor, Gintar Repecka wo is the Special effects editor deserves a standing ovation. They have just made some sophisticated CGI visuals and they just bought all the animals to real. This is definitely something bigger and better than 'Life of Pi' animation. The real time Live animation is exceptionally beautiful. This movie is completely a 'Visual magic'. It just brings Rudyard Kipling's characters to life. The two enchanting tunes, The Bare Necessities and I Wanna Be Like You just crush our heart. John Debney's music was also another positive aspect. Cinematographer Bill pope and Production designer Christopher Glass and WETA teams deserve another appreciation. They just have made natural backgrounds with textures that our naked eye wouldn't see. To make the 3D so realistic, they added more depth within each frame and there are lots of static shots. This is sheer brilliance. Justin Marks who has handled the screenplay has handled the content with care and subtlety.

Jon Favreau has definitely done a master piece here. The movie is an absolute delight to watch and the Motion capture technology is a new achievement in Hollywood. The 3D work itself justifies the ticket price. If you are planning to watch the movie this weekend, just watch it in 3D. The climax as always is pretty predictable for typical Disney movie. But that is what we expect too. The visual quality and life like animation quality just blow us down. It still creates 'awe' factor for us. Visual effects team led by Robert Legato and Adam Valdez deserve huge roar of applause for showing both human and animal characters flawless.
