What is the sole purpose to watch a movie ? It's just ENTERTAINMENT. And here we get that in huge number. Director Ezhil who is known for such 'Brainless Entertainers' has delivered it again. Murugan (Vishnu Vishal) is the right hand of a tailor turned MLA Jacket Jankiraman (Robo Shankar). Jacket is close to Minister and that never goes well with minister's nephew (Ravi Maria) and another politician (Aadukalam Naren). Soon after the minister dies, he reveals to Jacket about the hidden 500 Crores amount and he asks him to use it for betterment of people. This secret is heard by minister's nephew and he plans to Kidnap Jacket, but during the chase, the latter meets with an accident and he enters Coma. At the same time, Murugan gets into trouble after he meets Archana (Nikki Galrani). He falls in love with her and she is an Inspector. Murugan's friend Soori joins this mayhem and he wants to get his divorce paper signed from Pushpa. To get rid of all this mess, Jacket must wake up from coma. What happens next is a tale of 'HUMOUR and MINDLESS LAUGHTER'
Vishnu who does performance oriented roles has chosen normal routine. He is charming and his comic timing is too perfect. This time he is a Winner ! The supporting cast adds more fun to the madness. Robo Shankar is at his peak of his career. Soori is unstoppable. Everyone just creates more fun to the madness. Aadukalam Naren and Ravi maria steps out of their usual villainous roles and have fun with comic characters. 'Motta' Rajendran is effing brilliant in climax.
Technicalities ? Nothing special. Loose plot handled with loads of humourous episodes. So all you get is consistent enjoyment. C.Satya scored tunes and the songs are pretty average. But things work out in bckground score. Dialogues are biggest strength. Each scene will make you laugh like a retarded seal. Editing plays a major role. Ananda Lingakumar has kept the running time to 138 minutes and that is perfect. Shakti cinematography is colourful . Nothing more Nothing less.
Director Ezhil has once again done it. We assure you will have a 'LAUGH RIOT' inside movie hall. On flip side, we have too many songs and that tests our patience. Also the movie has more shades of Sundar.C movies. 'Naam Iruvar Namaku Iruvar' which features Prabhu Deva had similar theme. The best part of the movie is, even hardcore villains were portrayed in a comical manner. Vishnu who is known to attempt different roles has done a commercial masala movie for first time. In fact he tried to emulate Siva Karthikeyan in few scenes and that has worked out too. At the same time, if you think more Logic and find Loopholes, this is not the movie for you. Leave your brains at home and just enjoy it.
