'Pittagoda' made some good vibes even before it got released. The movie is loosely based on life of 4 friends who live in small town of Godavari Khani, Telangana. All friends are jobless jacks and they are carefree about their lives. But they decide to make it big and organize a Cricket Tournament in their area. But things take a turn as Tippu(Vishwadev) falls in love with Divya(Punarnavi). He stops the Cricket Tournament and now this creates rift between friends and even lands all of them behind bars. Why Tippu did such a thing ? Will friends get reunited ? Watch it on Silver screen.

Casting is the biggest strength. Realistic middle class performances from all actors backs up the movie. But we have already seen such fun filled friendship in 'n' number of movies. But, the treatment here makes it special. Punarnavi who is the female lead makes a solid impact with her performance. She also looks gorgeous and possess solid acting skills. Vishwadev as debutante has done justice to his role. The small time romance between the lead characters is too good. Jabardasth Ramu and his friends do their supporting roles to perfection.

The first half of the movie is filled with entertaining elements and it ends with a bang at the Intermission. The director also ensures there is no emotional or over dramatic scenes in between. But, we have ample of them during the last 20 minutes. And that last 20 minutes is the biggest minus of the movie too. It completely plays spoil sport. The screenplay looks absurd and everything seems in a hurry-burry for no reason. The most important factor of friendship is forgotten in this chaos. There should have been at least a scene to showcase that the friends are back together. Kamalakar has done a neat job with background score. Screenplay was good until last 20 minutes.

Kudos to Director Anudeep for handling a soft hearted romantic story blended with friendship. It is a decent debut for him. The characters are sketched beautifully and the strength of the movie lies there. But he should have taken even more care for the climax. Editing is very crisp and the running time is too short. Production values are also good. But on the whole, everything gets spoiled due to a weakly written climax.

Vishwadev Rachakonda,Punarnavi Bhupalam,Anudeep KV,Ram Mohan P,KamalakharA decent romantic comedy spoiled by a weak climax!
