Xander age is left for dead after an incident in last part and now he returns secret for a new and tough assignment with his handler Augustus Gibbons. Xander fights against the bad guys with this newly formed team. Does he save the World? Has he blended with the new team? Watch out on big screen
Vin Diesel is back as Xander Cage and he is a total entertainment package. He forms a team to have a clash against Xiang (Donnie Yen) and his team of trainer mercenaries. Donnie Yen is ruthless as bad guy. Deepika Padukone is one among his team member and she's gorgeous as always. Her Hollywood debut is refreshing and she has got a good screen space. Also Kudos to her for speaking American accent with ease. Nina Dobrev as nerd scientist Becky also attracts us. She's the next cute thing in the movie. Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa did justice to their roles. We also have some surprise guest cameos. Watch out them on big screen as we don't want to spoil the surprise.
Technical wise the movie is a tad weak. Some poor VFX spoils the show. However, they are completely overshadowed by some spine chilling action scenes. Action choreography is brilliant and the director Caruso has given equal space to every character. Cinematography is vibrant and colourful. Well, that's all you can expect from 'XXX'. Screenplay could have been better. It's really silly to think that a small Pandora box controls the entire Satellite. Seriously? Also overload of characters also annoy the audience.
The previous versions of the same franchise has done enough rule breaking and new dimension in action sequences. But still, our lady love Deepika Padukone brings some freshness to the cast. The fun element and action scenes elevate the movie. There are lots of loopholes in the movie. But if you avoid those and watch just entertainment, you will love it. If not, this is not the right movie for you.
