Bottom Line: A PERFECT TRIBUTE TO THE GOD OF CRICKET!

Story

Sachin Tendulkar plays himself in this sports-docudrama that traces the life and times of one of the world’s biggest cricket phenomenas. Sachin's Biopic movie takes us right back to his humble beginnings, his dreams, aspirations and how he inch by inch got closer to realizing all those. The movie's story establishes Sachin Tendulkar as not just a cricket sensation or a hero but a feeling. And the feeling is what you will take with you as you walk out of the theatres.

Star Performance

James Erskine had made the direction for the Biopic movie superbly. Amitabh Bachchan had made cameo appearance in the movie. The movie shows how Sachin from humble background had gained popularity and had made India proud. His struggles, challenges and the strong attitude and will power of Sachin is shown in the big screen exclusively and it is amazing. Sachin Tendulkar, Anjali Tendulkar and Mayuresh Pem have acted well and have proved themselves.

Techinical Team

Many die-hard fans of Sachin are ready to face the fact that our icon may have displayed feet of clay on occasion. However, the film doesn’t take chances. Sachin’s poor performances in some key matches and his reluctance to comment on some of his boorish seniors are just touched on fleetingly. The music and background scoring is made with utmost commitment and is Mind-blogging. The technical aspects deserves a big round of applause.

Analysis

The movie reveals Sachin’s journey both on and off the cricket field. The movie has brought together the legends of Bollywood and cricket together under one roof and will definitely make you emotional and will make you feel pride to be born in a country where a cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar lives. Movie director James Erskine puts Sachin on a pedestal and tells the story with an unnatural amount of reverence. The movie serves as a reminder that prodigies may be born, but they become Sachin Tendulkar only through perseverance, patience and preparation. Watch the movie this weekend and feel proud to be born in India.
