Spider-Man: Homecoming is just the continuation of Captain America: Civil War. Tom Holland appears as Third Spider-Man after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. So, this movie begins after the Airport fight sequence in 'Captain America: Civil War'. Spider-Man join hands with Iron Man and he wants to help him and save the World! As he starts his regular school life, a new villain emerges (Vulture) and how Spidey stops him along with Iron-Man forms the rest of the story.

Tom Holland actually looks like Spider-Boy than "The Spider-Man". What else to say? He is just 20 years old and it makes a huge difference. However, thanks to the appearance of Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, he lifts the movie to a new high. Tom mostly has a likable presence than a captivating one. There's a difference between them. His handsomeness some times makes us feel that, "C'mon, are we watching High School Musical again?" Michael Keaton is the Villain here. He does the role of Vulture and we can clearly see shades of his 'Birdman' too.

Tom Holland clearly knows the intensity of the character and he portrays it with wit and charm. And for those who predicted, this movie is 'Iron Man 4', we are terribly sorry to disappoint you people. Tony is here to Mentor Spidey and nothing else. Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes/Vulture could have been one of the best villains in Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, something is lagging behind. Marisa Tomei as Aunt May is just pretty and hot for her age. We also have the routine MCU family and everyone of them are flawless.

The Production values are too high as Marvel Studios joined hands with Columbia Pictures, Pascal Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment. The next notable thing is Special Effects. Of course, Spider-Man badly needs it and Luma Pictures have done a wonderful job in making the Visual effects so realistic. This movie also has 3D scanning feature and they have sought the help from Gentle Giant Studios. The VFX are beyond our imagination. Jon Watts has directed this venture and his last directorial release was 'Cop Car' in 2015.

The first few minutes of the movie might be boring as most of the time is spent in shaping up the Villain and Spider-man going to High school. And then, the adventure begins! Stay tuned for Post-credits scene as we want to see how Spider-Man is going to appear in Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers 4 and also in his next solo movie in 2019. The humour in the movie really works. The screenwriters definitely deserve a big credit here.

For those who all worried about Tom Holland, he shone this time. This could be a bad teenager movie, however the screenwriters made it better. Director Jon Watts brings a new dimension to this universe and he reflects the strength of the Spiderman. However, the sluggishness in the first few minutes could have been avoided. A great story and character development is what making the movie a better product!
