Basheerinte Premalekhanam Movie story is all set in a remote village of 80's where use of televisions are not in common. The movie takes you through the events that happens when a television comes to the village. Basheer is the only guy in the village who knows to operate the television. The television is installed in the house which has a girl and he falls in love with her. Their love story which is filled with more events is the climax of the movie.

Farhaan Fasil had portrayed as Basheer and he doesn't look that much convincing in the romantic scenes. Sana Althaf as Suhra had done a decent performance in the movie. Meanwhile Hareesh Perumanna scores heavily with his comic timing. Joy Mathew also gets to play a full length role, which he has done to perfection and rest of the actors have made a decent job.

Aneesh Anwar had directed the movie and he had failed to impress the audience this time as his previous released two movies were successful one. Sanjay Harris had handled the camera work which is his debut entry. The music was made by Vishnu Mohan Sithara is excellent, and he is definitely a budding talent.

Basheerinte Premalekhanam movie is a trip down the memory lane, which fails to create the necessary impact. The film's plot and premises get full marks but the final product, is not so convincing. The movie can be watched only once as the screenplay is not impressive.
