What Is Good

  • Arjun
  • Plot
  • Screenplay
  • Editing
  • Cinematography

What Is Bad

  • Lots of loopholes
  • Songs
  • Unwanted cliches
Bottom Line: A milestone for Arjun and an intriguing movie for the audience!

Story

Actor Arjun Sarja looks stylish and charming out fit and honest officer, and he excels in the couple of action blocks he gets. Varalaxmi and Prasanna have enough space for their roles and are good as the protagonist’s aides. Actress Sruthi Hariharan strikes a good chemistry with Arjun and her casting as a concerned and loving wife is apt. The film takes an interesting turn when the team starts chasing a serial killer. A crime of a political leader is scrutinized, followed by series of murders of a Doctor and a Lawyer is been investigated by the hero. What's the motivation behind the murder is the rest of the movie.

Star Performance

Action King Arjun's 150th movie is Nibunan which was directed by Arun Vaidyanathan. Prasanna, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Shruthi Hariharan have done a great job in the movie. Shruthi Hariharan's chemistry with Arjun is good. Arjun looks stylish and charming as a DSP and the movie is shot in Tamil and Kannada languages. Arjun who is known for performing action scenes has decided a superb performance in the movie.

Techinical Team

Anand Raghav and Arun Vaidyanathan have jointly written the screenplay for this solid investigation thriller Nibunan. Arvind Krishna had made the cinematography brilliantly. The music was scored by Navin should have been made better. The background scoring is little bit poor and overall the technical aspects may bring down the movie.

Analysis

Action King Arjun had performed as a stylish and powerful officer, who excel at his job but fails to balance his work and family. The movie has a relatable theme that is backed up by a screenplay that the makers are confident that the movie will keep the audience glued to their seats. The second half uncovers the root cause for the murders and the serial killer. On the whole Nibunan feels like the middle bench in the school and it doesn't surprise you for the good or better.
