After the National Award winning 'Thangameenkal' director Ram has completed his next film titled as 'Taramani'. While his previous film revolved around a child and her dotting father, this film is about the modern youngsters who work in the IT field. The film apparently deals with the insecurities in their general and love lives. However, this movie is not hard hitting like 'Kattrathu Tamizh'. But still, it should be appreciated for some bold content

Vasanth Ravi and Andrea’s chemistry had worked to some extent as the hero is seen with a thick beard and his body language is not so good. Director Ram had handled a different screenplay, but the hero had not satisfied the character’s thirst. Andrea had performed glamorously in few scenes as that’s her special quality to stun many. Well, no wonder this movie got 'A' certificate!

Yuvan Shankar Raja has done the music score and the songs released earlier this year have been well received by fans and music buffs. Theni Eshwar has handled the cinematography. Sreekar Prasad has done the Editing job. Taramani has been produced by Catamaran Productions banner of Ram and it has been acquired by J. Sathishkumar of JSK Films Corporation.

The film has acquired ‘A’ certificate. Ram revealed that the Censor board was willing to give U/A certificate if the makers induce the cuts suggested by them but producer Sathish did not opt for that as he felt the cuts will dilute the theme of the film. Hence Taramani will be releasing with an Adults only certificate and Ram has also clarified that it is a film that should be watched by adults. Andrea’s performances are good and her chemistry with the newcomer Vasanth Ravi is admirable.
