Aruvi, a small movie produced by Dream Warrior Pictures SR Prabhu, with a fresh cast, has been making the right noises, right from the beginning, with rave reviews from press shows and film festival recognition . The movie has released today amidst great expectations. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive review of the critically acclaimed Aruvi.

Aruvi is all about the title character (played beautifully by Aditi Balan), traversing her life journey from childhood to adulthood, from her happy times to the sudden shift to turbulent times, the impact the big bad society has on the little girl, making her a bold, strong and independent woman ultimately, which is told in a powerful, humorous and Sensible way on screen by director Arun Prabhu Purushothaman.

Aditi Balan steals the show as the title character, and as the girl filled with emotions and bold attitude, and with her expressions as she mouths lines that sarcastically lashes out at the evils and wrongs and shortcomings of the controlling and evil society, she's a wildfire, and gives a stunning performance that makes one wonder if she's a Debutant. Kavitha Bharathi and Anjali Varadan provide ample support to Aditi Balan in their short yet significant appearances.

Music by Bindu Malini and Vedanth Bharadwaj raises Aruvi to a whole new level and the background score is at international standards. Shelley Calist's Cinematography is extremely realistic, presenting the darkness of life and it's cruelty in all its rawness. Raymond Crasta's taut editing makes Aruvi a crystal clear, free Flowing visual experience. Coming up with such a hard-hitting theme with a girl being the title character and the Film focusing completely on her is a Daring and mass attempt.

Director Arun Prabhu Purushothaman has successfully delivered what he intended to on screen, without much fuss, taking a dig at the society, and with subtle, casually laced realistic and dark humor and neatly presented screenplay and perfect, unbreakable counters and digs at social practices with his lead lady rocking with her impressive screen presence. With Amazing performance extracted from Aditi Balan and with a gripping and engaging, humorous and close to life screenplay, Arun Prabhu Purushothaman has a winner, in all rights. Go watch this Aruvi and clean your senses with the enlightening visual experience, making you sit back and look at life and it's reality.
