Vennela One And Half Review: Story


Film starts with Khader [Venella Kishore] working in his father’s mutton shop and Ramesh drop by to supply him goats. Ramesh questions what made him work like this and ask the story how did he finish his masters in USA. Next scene opens with Khadar & Sunil [Madhu] landing in Thailand to finish their masters. Krishna Krishna[Chatinya] is their roommate , even though he is a rich kid his profession is to split lovers for money. Venella[Monal Gajjar] father hires Krishna to split her daughter form his lover, who has get engaged already. What plans does Krishna make up to split that pair, how he falls for her in this process, why heroines father wanted to break her daughters marriage, will Khadar & Sunil finish their masters has to be seen on the silver screen    

Vennela One And Half Review : Star Performances


    Chaitanya Krishna has done a fab work and he impresses with his dance moves & acting skills. Monal Gajjar looks very beautiful and her expressions also looked fine. Venella Kishore & his friend Madhu combo comedy scenes will get back the Venella feel to audiences. Brahmanadam, Raghubabu, master Bharat even though had less scenes has done a good job as usual. The show stealer of the film is Thagubothu Ramesh, he will definitely rule the comedy track in Tollywood very soon

Vennela One And Half Review : Direction, Music & Technical Aspects


First time debutant director Venella Kishore’s work is acceptable to some extent. He has to work hard to join the list of top directors in T-Town. Music by Sunil Kashyap is big back drop for this film and even the background score does not sink with the flow of the film. Camera work by Suresh looks little neat throughout the film. Editing is the like a crap surely negative aspect in this film. Being a low budget film rich looks is seen very less in this film.   

Vennela One And Half Review : Analysis


  First half of the film gets kick start with the introduction of lead actors and other important characters in this movie. Few funny and unfunny comedy scenes will keep the film go on. What plans hero implements to split heroine from his boy friend and how he gets close to her looks alright.The much hyped live interval concept is not good. Second half of the movie looks very boring even with new characters trying to bring few laughs. Brahmandam is provided with limited comedy scenes and even other comedians used in this film have very less scenes. Slow narration and dragging second half scenes will disappoint the audiences and makes them leave even before the film ends.
