Akhil Akkineni is facing all sorts of troubles for his first film itself. He completed the film according to a plan and even managed to create a good hype over the film. They have timed the release well for Dussehra but all that got disturbed after it was postponed due to some issue in the Graphics work in a sequence.
That postponement came as a big blow as the crucial Dussehra holidays advantage is missed. Now the makers are very confused about the new release date of the film. There are two options for them - Diwali or Sankranthi. Diwali is of no big advantage as there is no big holidays season and November is not so good month for film releases.
If they opt to release for Sankranthi, the movie will be delayed and may have the danger of audience losing interest on the film.So they are undecided about choosing one date between the two dates. The Graphics correction work is expected to complete on 29th of this month. They may take a final decision after that and announce it.
Akhil is a hot cake in trade and had witnessed never before business for a debutant. The distributors are carrying high risk if the movie releases in dull season. Akhil had done prerelease business worth 47 Crore which is the highest ever for a new comer in the history of Telugu cinema. So the timing of the movie is important to make sure the film becomes a safe venture.
