As it was speculated earlier, new releases this weekend could hardly find audience. The lack fo interest at the box office could be attributed to the off-weekend season as well as not-so compelling entertainment flicks. Majority of reviewers and critics considered this a box office debacle.
Not to mention, there were films like Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein, Yaara Silly Silly, and Ranbanka in the charts of weekend box office. However, the only film that managed to give some decent review was Charlie Kay Chakkar Mein. All the remaining flicks failed to garner any interest from the minuscule audience that stepped in.
As for the movie Yaara Silly Silly, it went unnoticed at many screens and not even a handful of reviews were received. Similar was that for the movies, Ranbanka and Four Pillars Of Basement, which did not have any shows and the collection were negligible.
It was estimated that the overall box office collection this weekend was just less than 2 crores. Meanwhile, the earlier released Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 is still making to the box office crossing the mark of 62 crores.
