'Vedalam' has completely taken Tamil Nadu by storm. The makers are happy as the movie is minting money at the Box-Office. We already reported about the Chennai Box-Office reports. Now this is not just a success in Chennai, the success has spread everywhere.
There is a famous single screen in Tirunelveli named Ram Muthuram Cinemas. The theatre has official social media space and they have posted on their facebook page that they have never experienced such a massive rush. They also posted photos of the crowd despite rain.
They have confirmed that 'Vedalam' has been their highest grosser on day one. The movie has fetched a sum of Rs.14 lakhs on day one. This is phenomenal and the owner has also confessed that they have arranged mid night shows by 2am due to over demand for tickets.
The makers also revealed that Vijay's 'Kaththi' had collection of Rs. 13.5 lakhs. and now 'Vedalam' has broke that record. This is a new benchmark set by the movie and the owner has confessed this record can never be broken.
