Charges were filed against Rahul Pasupalan and his wife Reshmi R.Nair for allegedly running an online sex racket. Rahul and his wife Reshmi were leading the protests and they initiated the 'Kiss of Love' movement in Cochin last year. The campaign used kissing as a form of protest. This was badly criticized by parties like Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Shiv Sena, Bajrang Dal and Hindu Sena.
The couple was arrested today by the Police as they received numerous complaints. Sources said Police got a tip off and there were eight people along with them. A source confessed that four among the eleven people who were taken into custody were women and one minor.
Police has confessed that a Facebook page, ‘Kochu Sundarikal’ (Beautiful girls) posted photos of school girls. An unknown tip from Trivandrum who is also associated with ‘Kiss of Love’ movement has said this tip. Police who tracked the leads has found that one woman was involving in sexual racket.
Police also tracked another Facebook page, ‘Sexually Frustrated Mallu’ and even in this page there are members from ‘Kiss of Love’ group. Police has confessed they can conclude only after more investigations. Right now they have deleted the Facebook page.
