• Kamalhaasan who is basking in success of 'Thoongavanam' is ready to join hands with the Malayalam director TK Rajeev Kumar.
• T.K.Rajeev Kumar earlier directed Kamal for the movie 'Chanakyan' by the year 1989. That movie was a huge success. Oorvasi, Jayaram also acted in that movie.
• The movie will be made as multi-lingual in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
• The Telugu version was titled as 'Amma Naana Aata'. With that speculations said the Tamil title will be 'Appa Amma Vilayattu'. But the makers said they are looking for something even more catchy
• As the movie is going to be released in Bollywood, the makers are planning to cast one more young actress from Bollywood. Most probably it will be Bollywood
• The whole movie will be shot in exotic locales of New York and Georgia.
• Amala for the first time has given 80 days of call sheet.
• Kamalhaasan's Raaj Kamal Films International is producing this project. Another production house may join hands soon.
