Nithin, Producer of Akhil Akkineni's debut movie had lost big on the film. The movie which had seen a pre-release business of 47 Crore now will hardly collect 18 Crore share now. Even though Akhil and Vinayak are returning some amount, the loss is still high for Nithin. On the other side, Nithin bagged the Telugu rights of Suriya's 24 but could not arrange the cash now.
He reportedly told Suriya that he can not honour the deal due to funds crunch. However Suriya assured him that he will negotiate the deal for a lesser amount and asked him to go on with the movie release. Suriya wants Nithin to be in the project as they have good distribution network in AP and Telangana.
24 is a sci-fi film in which Suriya plays Triple role. He will be playing an elder brother and younger brother. He will also be seen as the son of the elder brother. The movie is reportedly about Time-Travel. The first look posters of the film got released and they have created ripples among audience for the different and interesting getups of Suriya. Manam fame Vikram Kumar is wielding megaphone for this film which is being planned for Summer-2016 release.
