'Thoongavanam' which had KamalHaasan in lead role has completed more than 20 days of run. The movie is an official remake of French movie 'Sleepless Night'. Rajesh.M.Selva who is a trusted associate of Kamal made his directorial debut with this movie.
Trisha has done the female lead. Asha Sarath had done role of a doctor and has also done role of Kamal's wife. Uma Riaz, Prakash Raj, Madhu Shalini, Yugee Sethu are part of the supporting cast. Ghibran has scored Music. Vairamuthu has penned lyrics.

We reported earlier that the movie will have a legal release online on December 4th. Kamal haasan who has been a master in inventing new things has some other plans right now. We hear from sources that the actor is planning to release the movie on YouTube.
If so this will be the first movie to do so. Earlier in Hollywood, SONY released 'The Interview' starring James Franco and Seth Rogen. Kamalhaasan has always been a pioneer in such new inventive stuff. Let's hope this news gets true and we have a new pathway in Kollywood.
