Mega Powerstar Ram Charan had decided to bring in some freshness for his next project, the remake of Thani Oruvan. Instead of using the usual Telugu music director, he had decided to rope in Tamil music director, Hiphop Tamizha to score music for the project. It will mark the Telugu debut of the busy music director in Kollywood.

Hiphop Tamizha is also the music director of Thani Oruvan and the movie was back then a musical blockbuster and so he is the obvious choice. He will very soon begin the music sittings for the untitled project. The movie will have its launch in January and the regular shooting of the movie will begin in February.

Earlier the movie is planned for Summer-2016 but now may be pushed to the second half of the next year. Both Surender Reddy (Kick-2) and Ram Charan (Bruce Lee) faced bitter failures with their last outings and so there are keen to make amends with this project.  Ram Charan's uncle, Allu Aravind and Senior Producer NV Prasad will be jointly producing the film. NV Prasad earlier produced Charan's Rachcha. Rest of the cast and crew is being finalized.
