'Thani Oruvan' which released earlier this year in Tamil is one of the biggest hits. The movie is undoubtedly a huge winner. Mohan Raja directed the venture. Jayam Ravi and Nayantara did lead roles. Arvind Swami essayed role of antagonist and he got the most number of praises.
The movie got huge response and there was lots of competition for bagging the rights. Finally D.V.V.Danayya bagged the rights in Telugu version and he confirmed that Ram Charan will do the lead role. It is also said that 'Kick 2' fame Surender Reddy will direct the Telugu version.
Now the team has finalized the rest of the crew. Shruti haasan will be doing female lead role. The antagonist role will once again be done by Aravind Swami. Similarly Hip hop Tamizha who scored music for Tamil version, will be the music director for Telugu version too.
The movie is expected to start rolling from end of this month at Ramoji Film City (RFC). The whole team has been finalized. The supporting actors will be replaced to suit Telugu audience taste.
