Telugu film industry off late is known for the supremacy of Star films. However the indiscipline in the matter of release date is causing too many headaches. Star films announce their release dates and postpone them according to their whims and fancies. And that is troubling small movies in the last minute.


Recently Baahubali, Srimanthudu, Rudhramadevi and Akhil have postponed their release dates several times causing lot of problems for small movies. Telugu film producers Council is working on a new rule to curb this menace. According to this rule, biggies should stick to their announced release dates.


In case they need to postpone, they have to do it before four weeks. This rule will come in to force in 2016. The first movie to be affected by this rule is NTR's Nannaku Prematho. They have announced the release date as January 8th. And this rule will stop from changing the date to 13th in the last minute.


Fans allege that politics are being played against NTR in the name of new rule. Apparently they are doubting on Balakrishna who will be affected if Nannaku Prematho is releasing on 13th as his Dictator is being planned for January 14th.
