At last Simbu has come before media and spoke about rumors on him. In an interview given to a TV channel; he tried all the ways to support his beep sound. He asked why people are behind him; leaving culprits and rapists to the society.
I have sung a song which is vulgar; so people burn my posters. He has done a rape and been released by the government as he is a juvenile. This seems totally unfair. He says. He was disappointed for this controversies and opposition in the state because of his beep sound.
Of course it is not an official release. Someone leaked our personal and private song which I made for friend’s group. There is no truth in the words that I have released this intentionally only for publicity. I don’t need this type of publicity for my talent. He says.
Earlier similar issue raised in the case of ‘Manmadham’ where it faced a serious opposition from ladies but at last got big hit due to girls only. The lyrics follows no drink, no smoke, don’t quit jobs for women etc. many people don’t understand the meaning or song he says.
Anyhow; comparing himself to a teenage rapist and supporting his act by comparing a rape (where a woman was harassed and suffered) to his song shows what respect he has towards women.
