Mega Power Star Ram Charan received a severe setback with his last film, Bruce Lee. The movie despite having a comeback cameo of Megastar Chiranjeevi, could not even manage 40 Crore share which is a bare minimum collections for star films these days. The actor will be doing the remake of Tamil blockbuster, Thani Oruvan as his next.
Couple of days back, few media reports stated that the movie will be having its launch on January 16th as Sankranthi Special. But now the makers have changed their plan. The movie will be now launching on February 10th and the regular shooting of the film will immediately follow. The untitled film will see light in the second half of the next year.
Ram Charan reportedly wants Shruti Hassan to play the heroine in the film. The makers are in talks with her. The movie is currently in pre—production. The script is being tailored to suit Telugu nativity. Ram Charan's uncle, Allu Aravind and Senior Producer NV Prasad will be jointly producing the film. NV Prasad earlier produced Charan's Rachcha. Rest of the cast and crew is being finalized.
