Few hours back we reported that 'Aranmanai 2' faces legal trouble as the story was lifted from 'Aayiram Jenmangal' movie. The 1978 movie was directed by Durai and it was Rajinikanth's first horror movie. It was a run away hit during that time. Now it was said, 'Aranamanai 2' story was lifted from the same script.
A case was also filed on the director regarding this. But now it is made clear from the distributors that the movie will release this Friday. They also said the legal issues will be sorted out soon by the Director himself.
The movie brings the duo of Siddharth and Trisha together after 'Aayudha Ezhuthu'. Apart from Siddharth and Trisha, the movie has a strong supporting cast of actors like Poonam Bajwa, Kovai Sarala, Sathish and Manobala. Hip-Hop Aadhi scores tunes and the Audio topped iTunes charts.
Kushboo Sundar Produces the movie on behalf of Avni Cinemax creations. Sri Thenandal Films bagged the distribution rights The movie will release in Telugu version as 'Kalavathi'. Watch out this space for more updates.
