Anil Kapoor who is father of Sonam Kapoor is known for getting trapped in controversies by making some controversial statements. The same has happened once again as he spoke against Award ceremonies. During a press conference to announce Zee cinema Awards, Mr.Anil Kapoor was invited.
Speaking at the press conference he said, "As they say, the grass is always greener on the opposite side. You all are here and you don't know what's happening there. The kind of controversies happen there too. Sometimes the controversies are huge there (He was referring to Academy Awards).
And even this year, Oscars are facing big controversies. Most sections feel they were not fair and that has been diverse in the choice of nominations. These things happen everywhere. Even recently I won the Filmfare Best Supporting Actor for my performance in Dil Dhadakne Do.
I have received this after so many years. But that doesn't mean I don't want to get awards in between. Somewhere genuine I never got the award as my work is not upto the mark."
