Bollywood actor Sonu Sood's father Mr.Shakti Sood (77) took his last breath at their residence in Moga, Punjab. He passed away due to heart stroke and doctors said that he was already having respiratory problems for past four years.
Sources said, Sonu was having a conversation with his father and he suddenly collapsed and fell from the bed. He took his father to nearby hospital but doctors said that he died due to the attack. Sonu who hails from Mumbai was in Punjab to participate in Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) as his team Punjab De Sher had a match in Mohali.
Sonu lost his mother by 2008. Saraoj Sood was her name. He was survived by his father. One of the family member said, "Sonu's dad had respiratory problems for a long time and that is why he never agreed to movie with Sonu to Mumbai.
He always preferred to stay in Punjab. Soon after demise of his wife Saroj, he is living aloof. Sonu however visited him quite often. His sisters Monika and Malavika are married. One of the sister is here in Punjab and other is in abroad."
