Sonam Kapoor is busy with promotions of her new movie 'Neerja'. The movie is a biopic of flight attendant Neerja Bhanot. Sonam Kapoor essays role of Pan America flight attendant who lost her life trying to save the life of passengers from on board terrorists.
The incident was a real one which took place on 5th September 1986. Prashant Gupta does the male lead role along with Sonam Kapoor in this movie. Ram Madhvani shaped the project and Atul Kasbekar produces it under Fox Star Studios banner.
The actress who promotes the movie on a larger scale met media and she said, "I love to be a director and I will direct movies in future. I think more women are required in that field. I think in next couple of years, I will direct a film that will talk about incredible stories about strong women.
I am already on the mood of writing some scripts. I don't want to be labelled as feminist. But I want to address the feminist issues in the movie." 'Neerja' will hit screens on 19th of February.
