Kannada people love Telugu films and they not only watch the direct Telugu films but also encourage the remake versions. That is the reason Telugu films get remade in Kannada quite frequently. Sandalwood Super Star Sudeep who shot to fame with Eega in Telugu is using these remakes to his advantage.
Sometime back Sudeep starred in the remake of Power Star Pawan kalyan's Attarintiki Daaredi. He scored a sensational hit with the film and now according to the latest he is planning to remake Pawan's another film Gopala Gopala. Pawan Kalyan starred as Lord Krishna in the film along with Venkatesh.
The film is a remake of Hindi film Oh My God. The film turned out to be a hit. Film's remake version is progressing at brisk pace and is titled Mukunda Murari.
However Sudeep is not donning the role of Pawan Kalyan but is doing Venkatesh's role. Plans are on to cast another top star Upendra in the role of Krishna. Upendra himself is producing and directing the film. Sources say the film will be sensation before release if Upendra gives green signal for the proposal.
