'Pokkiri Raja' is a multi starrer project which features Jiiva and Sibiraj together. Sibiraj is doing role of an antagonist. Ram Prakash Rayappa of 'Tamizhukku Enn Onrai Aluthavum' fame directs the project. The movie is touted to be a commercial entertainer.
'Puli' fame P.T.Selvakumar funds the movie. Hansika does female lead and Harris Jayaraj scored tunes. PTS Film International banner has produced the movie under their production house. Now we hear the movie has fantasy element too.
As per script, Sibiraj and Jiiva are friends. But Hansika falls in love with Jiiva and Sibiraj falls in love with Hansika. This leads to break up between Hansika and Jiiva. Ultimately the friendship between Sibiraj and Jiiva also breaks up. Now a flashback reveals with some fantasy element.
In the flashback portion, it is said that Jiiva and Hansika were married couples and they were separated by Sibiraj. How they face troubles once again through Sibiraj in current generation forms rest of the story.
