Karthi and Nagarjuna are joining hands for the first time to do a bi-lingual titled 'Oopiri'. The Tamil version is titled as 'Thozha'. Tamannaah essays female lead role and she pairs with Karthi for the third time after 'Paiyaa' and 'Siruthai'. Nagarjuna does role of a millionaire in the movie.
Prasad Potluri produced the movie under PVP pictures banner. Vamsi Padipally directed the project. It is a remake of French movie 'The Intouchables'. Anushka was roped in to do a guest role. Nara Fotehi did an item number. The movie is now completely wrapped up.
The team recently released a posted for Valentine's day and it got some praises. As the movie was shot in exotic locations, the expectations were huge for this project. Now the team completed all shooting including patch work shoot.
We hear from inside sources that the team has decided to release a trailer along with Audio launch. The Audio will be launched by last week of this month. The Audio launch is expected to be a grand affair.
