Senior Telugu actors are slowly proving themselves and the latest one to join the list is Nagarjuna Akkineni. He proved his mettle as Quadriplegic in 'Oopiri' and the movie has been a huge success. Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh belong to the same time frame and right now except Chiranjeevi everyone of them are riding high.

Venkatesh who has disappeared from film industry is making a come back and he has already signed dotted line under Maruthi direction. Balakrishna is also planning to make his 100th movie as a grand one and he has roped in 'Kanche' director Krish. Chiranjeevi who has been the undisputed king of Tollywood made his come back with 'Bruce Lee'.

But that never worked out and in fact it was disappointment. On other hand Nagarjuna Akkineni easily dominated Chiranjeevi with three blockbusters and each movie is of contrasting genre. Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri had their own individuality. Nagarjuna's consistency was he chose scripts which were out of the box.

Balakrishna who had lots of failures made his come back strongly with 'Simha' and 'Legend'. Venkatesh is known for surprises as he is patient in choosing scripts. Now it's time for Chiranjeevi to pull his sleeve and make a grand come back with his 150th movie.
