'Raees' is Shah Rukh Khan's next venture and the movie features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mahira Khan and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in crucial roles. The movie is directed by Rahul Dholakia and it is funded by Ritesh Sidhwani, Gauri Khan and Farhan Akhtar under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment.
The movie is set in backdrop of 1980's period and it tells about the story of eponymous bootlegger whose business is challenged by a cop. The movie criticizes the prohibition of alcohol, prostitution, and drugs in Gujarat. Technical team features Ram Sampath for Music and K.U.Mohanan for cinematography.
