Lisa Ray is an Indo-Canadian actress, model, TV host, Philanthropist and Social activist. Initially she appeared in the Canadian film 'Water' and that was premiered at Toroto International Film Festival'. By 2008 she acted along with Sheetal Sheth in movies like, I Can't Think Straight and The World Unseen.
All the movies were romantic genre. She started her career in Indian cinema in 1994 by pairing against Sarathkumar for the movie 'Nethaji'. She also came to Bollywood in 2001 and acted in the movie 'Kasoor' and she paired with Aftab Shivdasani. By 2002, she acted in Tollywood movie 'Takkari Donga' along with 'Prince' Mahesh Babu.
In 2009, The gorgeous actress was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma which is a rare type of cancer. After severe treatment, in 2010 she became cancer free through a stem cell transplant. She married Management consultant Jason Dehni in 2012 and the wedding took place in Napa Valley, CA.
The actress also launched The Princess Margret Run 5k Walk which is an initiative to raise funds for patients suffering from Multiple Myeloma.
