And Suresh Babu has predicted a movie's result in advance and that has resulted in Rs.10 Crores loss.
Back in 2013, Producer D.Ramnaidu forayed into Punjab industry with Singh Vs Kaur under Suresh Productions. The movie was made on a limited budget and Suresh Babu stepped in and sold the movie for Rs.5 Crores making a huge profit of Rs.3 Crores.
Selling a 'Punjabi' movie for Rs.5 Crores in 2013 was huge and Suresh was so happy with the deal. But it never lasted long. To everyone's surprise, the movie came to screens and it got a huge response. It took everyone by surprise and the movie made over Rs.16.8 Crores World-wide in its complete run.
It even defeated other Bollywood biggies such as Kai Po Che, Zilla Ghaziabad in Punjab. This movie also became the highest grossing Punjabi movie. Suresh Babu was completely shell shocked and still now he regrets !
