Pawan Kalyan recently during an interview confessed that he was in financial crisis and to compensate for Naga Babu's losses he did 'Gabbar Singh'. He also said, he never even paid his staff and he was completely broken. This statement shocked everyone in Tollywood.
But now 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' is still in a bad shape and Pawan Kalyan has never even opened his mouth about compensation. In fact, it was him who produced the movie along with his friend Sharath Marar. The movie was a sheer disaster in Hindi version and it never even got back 25% of its investments.
Pawan Kalyan who spoke a lot about compensation factors is now tight lipped. This has created ripples among trade analysts. They expect Pawan to step down himself and provide the losses. But so far Pawan has never even accepted the fact that the movie failed.
A trade source said, "The movie managed to get back returns in few areas. But still as we have invested a huge chunk, this is not enough. Considering all taxes and other factors, we still need to have jam packed run. But the theatre occupancy is just 50% right now."
