Probably in History of Telugu cinema, 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' must be the only movie to overtake his own movie. But this time it is the other way around. He has overtaken his past flop 'Johny' with a better flop 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'. Pawan who experimented with two movies has failed big time.
Both the movies were Box-office duds. In the past, Pawan experimented with 'Johny' and it was a colossal flop. Now after a decade, he came back with 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' and it is even a better flop. Even though his fantasy of a deserted village, horses, guns never did any magic.
Also this is the 'First' Telugu movie to be declared as 'FLOP' after fetching 50 Crores at Box-office. Now distributors are seeking redemption for their losses. But it is not an easy thing as there are three partners in making of the film.
EROS which is a leading production house will not come forward and bear this loss as it is a out and out corporate house that plays strictly by the rules. So the loss has to be repaid only by Pawan and Sharath Marar. If they don't the buyers will definitely sink in the loss !
