'Brahmotsavam' is such a disaster and we have no adjectives to lash out the movie. The movie has been such a loss as the movie was sold for astronomical rates. Buyers will definitely struggle to recover at least half of the investments in most of the areas.
The movie bombed even in Mahesh's strong areas like Overseas and Nizam. Even in Ceded areas, 'Brahmotsavam' struggles to collect at least 4 Crores. Trade reports also said the movie has clearly lost the shine and most theatre owners are forced to replace it with other movies.
And now this has made way for Tamil movie 'Pichaikaaran' (Beggar) to get a good run. The movie is dubbed in Telugu as 'Bichagadu'. Most of the theatres are still preferring 'Bichagadu' than 'Brahmtosavam'.
Tollywood will have a hard time as there are no notbale release and only Tamil dubbed releases will rule the industry. The last hope for Tollywood is going to end with 'A..Aa..' which is slated to hit screens on June 2nd. It is expected to get more screens as there is zero competition.
