Mega Power Star Ram Charan is turning producer with his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi's Prestigious 150th film. The movie will start rolling from June 6th. Ram Charan is not just being a name sake producer of the film but is supervising entire production. Charan was to begin a new schedule of his next, Dhruva from 22nd of this month.
But now the schedule is postponed to June 3rd as Charan is busy overseeing the preproduction process of his maiden home production. Kathilantodu is the title in the rumour mills for the film which is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster, Kathi. Chiranjeevi trusted VV Vinayak even though he just registered a disaster with Akhil - The Power of Jua.
Ram Charan and his mother Surekha will be producing the film under their new banner, Konidela Productions. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for the film, his second time for Chiranjeevi after Shankar Dada MBBS. He recently started the music sittings of the film. Kathilantodu is being planned for Sankranthi-2017 release.
