Sonu Nigam is a powerful playback singer and no one can forget the charm of star playback singer. He has sung in many Indian languages and now became a ‘Roadside Ustaad. And he has gone on a roadside trip of Mumbai singing nearly 25 songs for about an hour each at various Mumbai locations.
He was dressed up as an old beggar, Sonu has sung with harmonium in hand on Mumbai streets and the good thing is that people did not recognize him and he has enjoyed it and people around liked his voice because they do not know that he is Sonu Nigam.
Sonu has informed that he was able to attract them with his voice and if people would have recognized him, he would have felt embarrassed and with none of his body guards, managers around, he was sitting alone on footpath singing and the schedule was, one hour behind Chandan theatre in Mumbai, one hour in front of Chandan and one hour at Four Bungalows.
Sonu Nigam has added that he has also released a short 3 minute clipping of this feat on Mumbai roads and got wide applause from net gens and it was not easy to sit under the sun and he has prepared well to perform and so, many people has joined him and some of them were crying while listening to his voice.
